Picture of Jason TarabayMy name is Jason Tarabay. I’m a Microsoft Engineer working in support of the U.S. Army to assist with thier endeavors and challenges with SharePoint and the surrounding technologies.

Microsoft SharePoint is a collection of products and software elements that includes, among a growing selection of components, Internet Explorer–based collaboration functions, process management modules, search modules and a document-management platform. SharePoint can be used to host web sites that access shared workspaces, information stores and documents, as well as host defined applications such as wikis and blogs. All users can manipulate proprietary controls called “web parts” or interact with pieces of content such as lists and. document libraries.

SHAREPOINTADVICEdotNET is just what it sounds like it is; it’s a blogging site offering advice regarding SharePoint and the surrounding technologies. There are many blogs on the internet, doing the same kind of thing. The goal isn’t to just have a unique idea, but also to have SharePoint content that is hard to find or possibly not on any other blog. Of course, there will be some duplicatation, but that’s good too, it may make the right answer more prevalent and therefore easier to find when you need help.I hope you find something here that shortens your search for the answer.Let’s get started… ;o)
